Mary Catherina (Suss) was born in 1740 in Eschelbach, Baden, Germany.1 Mary Catherina (Suss)'s father was Christopher Sease and her mother was Susannah Anhaus. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Leonard, John Mark, Dorothy (Suss), Catherina (Suss), Eva Margaret (Suss) and Christina. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John Leonard, John Mark, Mary Catherina, Dorothy, Eva Margaretha and Christina. She died after September 27th, 1752 in Newberry District, SC.1 General Notes
