John Leonard Seas

John Leonard was born in 1754 in Newberry Co., SC.  John Leonard's father was Christopher Suss and his mother was Susannah Anhaus. He had a brother and four sisters, named John Mark, Mary Catherina, Dorothy, Eva Margaretha and Christina.  He was the third oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Leonard, John Mark, Mary Catherina (Suss), Dorothy (Suss), Catherina (Suss), Eva Margaret (Suss) and Christina.  He died at the age of 86 on December 8th, 1840 in Barnwell Dist. South Carolina.
