William Riser 
William was born in 1811.1 William's father was John Riser and his mother was Barbara Ann Zeigler. His paternal grandparents were Martin Riser and Christina Sease. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Henry Hartwell, George C., Adam Martin, James A., Walter F., Elizabeth, Anne Caroline and Lavinia M.. He was the oldest of the ten children.-
