James Laney Reid 
James Laney was born on September 25th, 1839.1 James Laney's father was Hugh Reid and his mother was Serepta Ann Glenn. His maternal grandparents were William Glenn and Mildred Milly Alexander. He had a brother and two sisters, named William Jasper, Milly Jane and Mary E.. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Levi Garrison, James Cook, Joseph C., Augustus Alexander, (Baxter) Theodo Terpin, George Cook and Julia Ann Sarepta Frances. He died at the age of 21 on August 14th, 1861.1 -
