Lula McKenzie 
Lula was born on March 13th, 1882 in Haynesville, Louisiana.1 Lula's father was David Lacy McKenzie and her mother was Martha Jane Shaw. Her maternal grandparents were David Alexander Shaw and Sarah A. Kinard. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Augustus (Gustave) David, George Authur, Lela Adell (Ada), Mary Alberta (Berta), Lillie, Florence, Lena and Willie Blondelle. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 88 on March 9th, 1971 in Homer, Louisiana.1 -
