Roy Edward was born on March 10th, 1930.1 Roy Edward's father was Grover Evans Mayer and his mother was Vennie Shealy. His maternal grandparents were John Andrew Shealy and Nancy Ella Haltiwanger. He had a brother and a sister, named Grover Albert and Mabel. He died at the age of 21 on October 27th, 1951. He was buried in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pomaria, South Carolina.1 1 -
