William Mauduit 
William was born about 1196.1 William's father was Robert Mauduit and his mother was Isabel Basset. His paternal grandfather was William Mauduit. He was an only child. He died in April 1257.1 General Notes

William Maudit, d. Apr. 1257, lord of Hanslope, and Harley Mandu it, co. Buckingham, Chamberlain of the Exchequer, son of Rober t Mauduit, d. 1222, lord of Hanslope, Chamberlain of the Eschequ er, by his wife Isabel Basset. Robert Mauduit's maternal grandfa ther was Simon de St. Liz, d. 1153, Earl of Huntingdon. (CP XI I (2) 364, 366-368, Sander, pp. 50-51).
