Elaine Twardziak
Pelion -- Services for Elaine Matthews Twardziak, 45, will be held at 11
a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2000 at Saint John's Lutheran Church of Irmo
with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from
7-9 this evening at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Memorials may be made to Saint John's Lutheran Church or the American
Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210.
Mrs. Twardziak died Monday, June 26, 2000. Born in Columbia, she was a
daughter of the late Clyde and Martha Haltiwanger Matthews. She was a
member of Saint John's Lutheran Church of Irmo. She was employed with
Elliott Davis and previously employed with Equitable Life Insurance.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Twardziak of Pelion; son, Warren
Twardziak of Pelion; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Morris
Williams of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren, Destyni and Elijah
Williams of Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers, David Matthews of Portland,
Ore., Trani Matthews of Tulsa, Okla.; countless friends and loved ones.
