Albert Carlton Matthews 
Albert Carlton was born on January 31st, 1921.1 Albert Carlton's father was Exra McCoy (Monkey) Matthews and his mother was Gertrude Eoline Wheeler. His maternal grandparents were Albert Clarance (Abb) Wheeler and Lola C. Shealy. He had a brother and two sisters, named Clyde McCoy, Myrtle Juanita and Reba Kathryn. He was the second oldest of the four children.-
