Liudolf (Ludwig) was born about 1008.1 Liudolf (Ludwig)'s father was Bruno Count Of Brunswick and his mother was Gisele of Swabia. His paternal grandfather was Ekbert Der Einaugige Count In Ambergau; his maternal grandparents were Herman II of Swabia and Gerberga of Burgundy. He had three half-brothers named Hermann IV, Henry III The Black and Henry III. He died on April 23rd, 1038.1 General Notes
