Maud's father was Sir MARSHALL, Protector, Earl Of Pembroke and her mother was Isabel De CLARE, Countess Of Pembroke. Her paternal grandparents were John Fitz GILBERT The Marshal and Sibyl De SALISBURY; her maternal grandparents were Richard "Strongbow" De CLARE, Earl Of Pembroke and Aoife Macmurchada Of Leinster. She had two sisters named Isabel and Eve. She died about April 1st, 1248.1 General Notes
