Tempy Kinard 
Tempy was born in 1824 in Barnwell District, South Carolina.1 Tempy's father was Graham Kinard and her mother was Eve Sease. Her maternal grandparents were Leonard Sease and Katherine E. Rizer. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named Martin L., Daniel\David, Jacob, William, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah A., Nancy J., Polly, Eliza L. and Catherine. She died at the age of 38 in 1862.1 -
