Polly was born about 1837 in Alabama.1 Polly's father was Graham Kinard and her mother was Eve Sease. Her maternal grandparents were Leonard Sease and Katherine E. Rizer. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named Martin L., Daniel\David, Jacob, William, Tempy, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah A., Nancy J., Eliza L. and Catherine.-
