Martin Clay Kersh 
Martin Clay was born on October 24th, 1869.1 Martin Clay's father was William Leonard Kersh and his mother was Eliza F. Jones. His paternal grandparents were David Kersh and Elizabeth Sease. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John David, Jacob Lafayette, William Lavelle, Walton Columbus, Edward Eugene, Marvin Glenn, Dora Elizabeth, Ollie Catherine, Ella Eliza and Beulah Augusta. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.-
