John David Kersh 
John David was born on December 30th, 1857 in Near Centreville, Bibb County, m Alabama.1 John David's father was William Leonard Kersh and his mother was Eliza F. Jones. His paternal grandparents were David Kersh and Elizabeth Sease. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Jacob Lafayette, William Lavelle, Walton Columbus, Martin Clay, Edward Eugene, Marvin Glenn, Dora Elizabeth, Ollie Catherine, Ella Eliza and Beulah Augusta. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 88 on February 22nd, 1946 in Montgomery, Alabama.1 -
