Martha Elizabeth (Mattie) was born on October 1st, 1838.1 Martha Elizabeth (Mattie)'s father was David Kersh and her mother was Elizabeth Sease. Her maternal grandparents were Leonard Sease and Katherine E. Rizer. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Martin P., William Leonard, Andrew, David, Jacob, Catherine (Kate) Alabama, Margaret Amanda Worthington, Elizabeth (Eliza) and Fannie. She died at the age of 76 on November 4th, 1914 in Bibb County, Alabama.1 -
