Fannie's father was David Kersh and her mother was Elizabeth Sease. Her maternal grandparents were Leonard Sease and Katherine E. Rizer. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Martin P., William Leonard, Andrew, David, Jacob, Catherine (Kate) Alabama, Martha Elizabeth (Mattie), Margaret Amanda Worthington and Elizabeth (Eliza).-
