William FitzAlan 
William was born about 1090.1 William's father was Alan FitzFleald and his mother was Adeliza of Shropshire. His paternal grandparents were Flaald (Fledaldus) FitzAlan and Aveline de Hesdin; his maternal grandfather was Warine de Hesdin. He was an only child. He died about 1160.1 General Notes
