Robert L. was born in 1889.1 Robert L.'s father was George Marion Boyd Epting and his mother was Susan M. Schumpert. His maternal grandparents were John Schumpert and Eliza Kibler. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Schumpert, Robert Haskell, George Norman, James Edward, Ben M., Belle, Ida Mae and Annie. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 49 in 1938. He was buried in Rosemont Cemetery, Newberry, SC.1 1 -
