Dorothy was born in 1920 in Newberry County, SC.1 Dorothy's father was John E. (Mammy) Cromer and her mother was Janie Sease. Her maternal grandparents were Killain Alma Sease and Ella Crout. Blair - Services for Dorothy Cromer Ragsdale, 74, will be held at 2 p.m.
Thursday at Salem Presbyterian Church, with burial in Rosemont Cemetery
of Newberry. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Whitaker
Funeral Home of Newberry. Memorials may be made to Salem Presbyterian
Church.
Mrs. Ragsdale died Monday, Feb. 27, 1995. Born in Newberry County, she
was a daughter of the late John E. "Manny" and Janie Sease Cromer. She
was a member of Salem Presbyterian Church and the Women in the Church.
Surviving are her husband, John Knox Ragsdale; a daughter, Karen Greer of
Lexington; sons, John Ragsdale Jr of Columbia andTed Ragsdale of Blair; a
sister, Carolyn Ruff of Greenville; a brother, Hary Cromer of Newberry;
three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren; and
