Albert I The Pious was born about 0915.1 Albert I The Pious' father was Herbert II De VERMANDOIS and his mother was Hildebrante. His paternal grandparents were Herbert I Count Of Vermandois and Beatrice De MORVOIS; his maternal grandparents were Robert I Duke Of France and Aelis. He had a brother and two sisters, named Robert, Alix and Luitgarde. He was the second youngest of the four children.1 General Notes
