Robert was born about 0920.1 Robert's father was Herbert II De VERMANDOIS and his mother was Hildebrante. His paternal grandparents were Herbert I Count Of Vermandois and Beatrice De MORVOIS; his maternal grandparents were Robert I Duke Of France and Aelis. He had a brother and two sisters, named Albert I The Pious, Alix and Luitgarde. He was the youngest of the four children.General Notes
