Clarence Byrd 
Clarence was born on May 24th, 1877 in DARLINGTON, SC.1 Clarence's father was David Taylor Byrd and his mother was Charlotte Anna Dorrity. His paternal grandparents were Evander Byrd and Elizabeth Mason. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert Dorrity, Ralph Mason, David Alexus, Infant, Elizabeth Bessie and Daisy. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 20 on August 3rd, 1897 in DARLINGTON, SC.1 General Notes

HE WAS SHOT BY A NEGRO, HE CHANGED HATS WITH HIS NEGRO FRIEND. THEY WHERE DOING MOONSHINE. HE WAS SHOT BELIEVED BY ACCIDENT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HIS PARTNER .
