Angesius Bishop of Metz 
Angesius was born in 0602 in Austrasia, France.1 Angesius' father was Arnoul 'de Heristal' Metz Bishop of Metz and his mother was Dode von Sachsen. His paternal grandparents were Governor of Aquitaine Bodigisel II and Oda de Savoie. He had a brother named Chlodulf. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 83 in 0685 in Andene Monastery.1 General Notes
