Gendolfus was born about 0532.1 Gendolfus' father was Munderic de Vitry Lord Vitry-en-Parthois and his mother was Arthemia (of Vitry). His paternal grandparents were Cloderic the Patricide King of Cologne and kinswoman of St. Chrotechilde de Burgundy. He was an only child. He died after 0598.1 General Notes
