John Tarleton Tucker 
John Tarleton was born in May 1839. John Tarleton's father was John Randolph Tucker and his mother was Virginia Webb. His paternal grandparents were John Tucker and Susan Mary Ann Douglas; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Tarleton Webb and Harriett Davis. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Alfred Taylor, Charles Douglas, Randolph, Tarleton Webb, Harry Gringo, Virginius, Virginia Fleming and Harriet Reilly. He was the oldest of the nine children.-
