Jane was born on November 7th, 1790 in Louisa Co., VA.  Jane's father was Peter Timberlake and her mother was Jane Peers.  Her paternal grandparents were Peter Timberlake and Mary ?. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Joel, John, James, Mary and Nancy.  She was the youngest of the six children.
