George Washington Thurston

George Washington was born in 1780 in Goochland Co., VA.  George Washington's father was William Bailey Thurston and his mother was Jean Jones.  His paternal grandparents were Francis Thurston and Hester Richards. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Archer, Meriwether, William R., Francis, Elizabeth Ann, Ann and Susannah.  He died at the age of 83 in 1863 in Rutherford Co., TN.
