A. C. Thurston 
A. C. was born about 1859. A. C.'s father was George Washington Thurston and his mother was Ruth Sullivan. His paternal grandparents were William Bailey Thurston and Jean Jones. He had three brothers and a sister, named J. R., G. W., J. M. and Bettie Jane. He was the second youngest of the five children.
