Her paternal grandparents were John Throckmorton and Rebecca Richardson; her maternal grandparents were Warner Washington and Hannah Fairfax. She had a brother and a sister, named Warner Washington and Catherine R.. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died in Memphis, Tennessee.-
