Benjamin George Tapscott 
Benjamin George was born on October 30th, 1825 in Buckingham Co., VA. Benjamin George's father was William Hill Tapscott and his mother was Eliza Carr Childress. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Childress and Ann Key Johnston. He had a brother and five sisters, named William Henry Hill, Agnes Ann Elizabeth, Sophronia Eliza, Pocohontas Caroline, Mary Magdalene and Sarah Abraham. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 42 on January 16th, 1868.-
