Richard Taliaferro 
Richard was born in 1705 in Essex Co., Virginia. Richard's father was Francis Taliaferro and his mother was Elizabeth Catlett. His paternal grandparents were Robert Taliaferro and Katherine Dedman; his maternal grandparents were John Catlett and Elizabeth Underwood Slaughter. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Robert, William, Zachariah and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 74 on July 3rd, 1779 in Gloucester Co., Virginia.-
