Richmond Carrington was born on August 18th, 1896 in Union Co., OH. Richmond Carrington's father was Joseph Cosgray Sweeney and his mother was Martha Tomasia Shields. His paternal grandparents were James Sweeney and Anna Waters; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Pride Shields and Martha Carrington Bradley. He had two brothers and a sister, named James Chamberlain, Thomas Shields and Ruth Virginia. He died at the age of 69 on August 12th, 1966 in Union Co., OH.-
