William Stanley 
William was born in 1799. William's father was Joseph Stanley and his mother was Phebe Rich. His paternal grandparents were Elijah Stanley and Hannah Mills. He had a brother and three sisters, named Samuel, Mary, Phebe and Rebecca. He was the oldest of the five children.-
