Shadrack was born on June 25th, 1736 in Cedar Creek, Hanover Co., Virginia. Shadrack's father was John Stanley and his mother was Alice Ballard. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Stanley and Rebecca ?. He had a brother and six sisters, named John, Mary, Alice, Ursula, Millicent, Elizabeth and Ann. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas, Joshua and Agatha. He died at the age of 56 on September 4th, 1792 in New Garden MM, Guilford, North Carolina.General Notes
