Richard Stanley 
Richard was born in 1809. Richard's father was Jesse Stanley and his mother was Lydia Gurley. His paternal grandparents were Strangeman Stanley and Jemima Mills; his maternal grandparents were John Gurley and Lydia ?. He had three brothers and eleven sisters, named Solomon, Zimri, Jesse, Rhoda, Rachel, Lydia, Mary, Charlotte, Martha, Jean, Sarah, Luzena, Nancy and Phebe. He was the seventh oldest of the fifteen children.-
