Meredith Stanley 
Meredith was born in 1848 in Locust Creek, Bumpass, Louisa Co., VA. Meredith's father was Joshua Calvin Stanley and his mother was Ann Elizabeth Trainham. His paternal grandparents were Michael Stanley and Rebecca Stanley; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Trainham and Sarah Durvin. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James Temple, Freddie, Sarah Elizabeth, Catherine Agnes and Mary Ann. He was the third oldest of the six children.-
