James Temple Stanley 
James Temple was born on June 6th, 1843 in Hanover Co., VA. James Temple's father was Joshua Calvin Stanley and his mother was Ann Elizabeth Trainham. His paternal grandparents were Michael Stanley and Rebecca Stanley; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Trainham and Sarah Durvin. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Meredith, Freddie, Sarah Elizabeth, Catherine Agnes and Mary Ann. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 80 on April 20th, 1924 in Hanover Co., VA.-
