Joseph Stanley 
Joseph was born in 1819. Joseph's father was Joseph Stanley and his mother was Abigail Cobb. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Stanley and Unity Crew; his maternal grandparents were Pleasant Cobb and Amy Terrell. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Timothy, Ansalem, Jannet, Joanna, Rachel P., Judith and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
