Abel Stanley 
Abel was born on October 8th, 1777 in North Carolina. Abel's father was William Stanley and his mother was Elizabeth Walker. His paternal grandparents were James Stanley and Catherine Hutchins; his maternal grandparents were William Walker and Sarah ?. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, William, Hannah, Phoebe, Sarah and Rebecca. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 69 on July 11th, 1847 in North Carolina.-
