Polly Smith 
Polly was born in 1774 in Louisa Co., VA. Polly's father was John Smith and her mother was Elizabeth Lipscomb. Her paternal grandparents were David Smith and Elizabeth Ragland; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Lipscomb and Sarah MackGehee. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, David, Thomas, Nathan, Lovina, Elizabeth, Anne and Ann. She was the youngest of the nine children.-
