Abraham was born about 1746 in Amelia Co., VA. Abraham's father was Jacob Seay and his mother was Rachel Wingo. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Seay and Mary Wilson. He had five brothers and six sisters, named James M., John, Hezekiah, Jacob, Moses, Edith, Phoebe Philby, Hannah, Agnes, Frances and Sarah.
