John Scott 
John was born on January 6th, 1773 in Prince Edward Co., VA. John's father was James Scott and his mother was Francis Collier. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Scott and Ann Baytop; his maternal grandparents were John Collier and Anne Eppes. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph, Thomas Baytop, James, Ann, Lucinda, Mary Eliza, Frances Collier, Elizabeth, Mildred and Harriet. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 66 on November 25th, 1839 in Lowndes Co., Alabama.-
