Winfield Scott Richardson 
Winfield Scott was born on January 24th, 1889 in Lincoln Co., WV. Winfield Scott's father was Oscar Alonzo Richardson and his mother was Martha Ann Gelia Russell. His paternal grandparents were William James Richardson and Martha Jane Wilson; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Russell and Serena Turley. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Horace Reed, Alonza Vernon, Samuel Webster, Virgil, Blanche, Mattie A., Lena, Ida, Donnie and Iva. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 on March 15th, 1968 in Griffithsville, Lincoln Co., WV. He was buried in Powell Cemetery, Hamlin, WV.-
