Oscar Alonzo was born on June 19th, 1854 in Goochland Co., VA. Oscar Alonzo's father was William James Richardson and his mother was Martha Jane Wilson. His paternal grandparents were Samuel G. Richardson and Mary Anne Kennon; his maternal grandparents were Barnet Wilson and Mary Parrish. He had a sister named Mary Ida. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 85 on June 3rd, 1940 in Lincoln Co., WV. He was buried in Powell Cemetery, Hamlin, WV.-
