James Peyton Randolph 
James Peyton was born on April 17th, 1836. James Peyton's father was James Peyton Randolph and his mother was Elizabeth W. Payne. His paternal grandparents were Jediah Randolph and Ann Jennings; his maternal grandparents were John Winston Payne and Mary C. Gilliam. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Winston, Joseph E., Henry Frank, George W., Mary Bickford Payne, Julianna Susan, Elizabeth O. and Mollie Carter. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died due to while serving in Confederate Army at the age of 26 on June 14th, 1862.-
