Virginia Evelina was born on February 16th, 1872 in Oilville, Goochland Co., Virginia. Virginia Evelina's father was Thomas Leroy Powers and her mother was Annie Maria Nuckols. Her paternal grandparents were Major Powers and Letitia Lord; her maternal grandparents were William Watson Nuckols and Harriet Catherine Nuckols. She had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas Eugene, Willie Etta, Allenia Macon and Lillian Catherine. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 60 on March 9th, 1932 in Robin, Bannock, Idaho.-
