Harriet Catherine was born on January 31st, 1822 in Goochland Co., Virginia. Harriet Catherine's father was Benjamin Nuckols and her mother was Elizabeth Jerdone Toler. Her paternal grandparents were William Nuckols and Elizabeth Woody; her maternal grandparents were Adam Toler and Mary Jerdone. She had six brothers and three sisters, named George P., William B., Robert H., John Franklin, Henry, Benjamin J., Sarah E., Mary Jane and Sarah J.. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 72 on August 21st, 1894 in Rockville, Hanover Co., VA.-
