Susan J. was born on November 18th, 1858 in Hart Co., KY. Susan J.'s father was Robert Thomas Poor and her mother was Lucy Jane Richardson. Her paternal grandparents were Edward H. Poor and Martha A. Carden; her maternal grandparents were William Alexander Richardson and Sarah Abbott. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William Joseph, Christopher Columbus, John Henry, Martha A., Sarah, Elvira and Malinda. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 19 on December 4th, 1877 in Hart Co., KY.-
