John Henry Poor 
John Henry was born on July 25th, 1862 in Hart Co., KY. John Henry's father was Robert Thomas Poor and his mother was Lucy Jane Richardson. His paternal grandparents were Edward H. Poor and Martha A. Carden; his maternal grandparents were William Alexander Richardson and Sarah Abbott. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William Joseph, Christopher Columbus, Martha A., Sarah, Elvira, Susan J. and Malinda. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 46 on March 13th, 1909 in Hart Co., KY.-
